Alomar, Blyleven Voted into Hall of Fame

A few minutes ago, Roberto Alomar and Bert Blyleven were elected into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Alomar is almost certain to be elected in wearing a Toronto Blue Jays hat, the first time this has happened in Blue Jays history. Regardless of what you think about Alomar's range at second base, it's fairly obvious that he belongs in the Hall of Fame.

Larry Walker meanwhile recieved a respectable 20.3% of the available votes, which I must say I am happy about. Considering that the percentage of public ballots containing Walker fell short of this figure, Walker supporters should all be pleased with this result.

Considering that lots of Walker non-voters are likely just not voting for him because he "isn't first ballot material," expect him to get from 35-50% of the vote next time around.

Stay tuned, as BTTN is going to reveal a special feature later today: Our 2011 Blue Jays Top 10 Prospects... while the 11-20 list will be released next week.
